The development will deliver approximately 1,578 residential units in a mix of sizes, supported by street-related retail uses, 425 vehicular parking spaces, and 592 bicycle spaces. The proposal also emphasizes public realm improvements, including a 398 square metre privately owned publicly accessible open space (POPS), a multi-modal greenway along Windsor and Newcastle Streets, and active ground-floor frontages to enhance pedestrian connectivity and create a vibrant streetscape. The project unlocks high-density, transit-supportive development that contributes new housing, retail opportunities, and public amenities within walking distance of major transit station.
Sajecki Planning prepared a number of planning and urban design related reports and deliverables in support of the Official Plan Amendment and Zoning By-law Amendment application, and is continuing to assist the client with the advancement of a Site Plan Approval application.
